Ihor Polych

Ihor Polych is the founder and CEO of Devlight. Devlight is an AI and product engineering company that builds AI agents, intelligent workflows, and digital products for mid-market and enterprise companies. Ihor founded the company in 2016 and has led it for more than 10 years. He is Vice President for International Cooperation at the IT Ukraine Association.

Ihor champions the Agentic First approach: AI agents take over a company’s business processes and personalize the customer experience. He rebuilt Devlight itself around this principle. He advises teams to build a “culture of architects” and leaders to show their own hands-on experience with AI. He names cost, data security, and a shortage of expertise as the main barriers to AI adoption.

In more than 10 years, Devlight has built 120+ products used by 40M+ people. Its clients include 20 of the Forbes Ukraine Top 100 companies, among them Nova Poshta, Sense Bank, Varus, and Novus. Today Devlight has offices in Ivano-Frankivsk, Warsaw, Tallinn, and London.
